She's just naturally short, and so is Diddy Kong.
Candy went from being more gorilla-like to humanoid (not to mention sexual which is disturbing).
Tiny went from having looking like a cute little monkey girl to a womanized teenager (LOL).
And Wrinkly originally looked more animalistic (and more like a male actually) but now has a cuter appearance and looks more like a female.
Dixie on the other hand has had a few small changes but her design has pretty much stayed the same.
I still like both the old and new designs of all the Kong girls though (even if Candy IS pretty awkward to look at XD).
P.S. I think I might have commented before but I wanted to share this thought
I never got Tiny's age. I thought Tiny was younger than Dixie, how did Tiny grow up faster than she did? O-O
Tiny: im so glad i hit that growing spurt....Rule 34 is fun
Awesome piece here; keep up the goodness.
*adds to the Tiny Kong collection*
You also made Candy look ridiculously cute, and that's awesome.
Love the way you drew them.
Also, don't laugh. But when I was like 7 or 8 when I saw the previews for DKC2 (they had these preview consoles in stores like Toys R Us or Target, remember?), I didn't know who Dixie was.... but when I sat the hair and beret, i thought
"Who turned Mario into a Monkey?!"
Because for some reason, she reminded me of Mario wearing the cape from Mario World. She spun around so dman much in the preview too.
But spinning was Dixie's thing. Her special factor was being able to glide down gently instead of insta-dying like everyone else.
